Who Says Eating Right Can't Be De-Lish?
This is what's on the menu around these parts tonight. Chicken Cesar Salad. . .DE-LISH!

That looks awesome, and I don't even like salad!
Yum! This is my favorite salad! Enjoy!
Eating healthy and eating delicious food definitely overlap. Are those croutons, though? =D
Where have you been lately? There has been a noticeable gap in my subscriptions since you haven't posted anything in three weeks.
I love eating healthy!! But i hate to break it to you... Caesar salad is one of the worst things on earth you can eat, because the dressing is so bad for you. They say many fried foods are better for you than Caesar dressing...
@milfncookies - I love salad!
@jacksoncroons - Yum is right!
@christao408 - yeah those were croutons they are my guilty pleasure on the weekend. I've been busy with my sister's wedding details and lazy with writing.
@CrystallineFigurines - I do the Wishbone Salad Spritzers not regular salad dressing. I never have done any regular dressing. Usually vinegar and oil is what I use out side of spritzer.
Looks tasty!
I wish more people would realize how tasty healthy cooking could be. I'm so glad I learned to flavor my foods with natural spices and herbs instead of fillers and additives (MSG, sodium, fats, etc.).
If you'd like some variety on salad dressings, since you mentioned you enjoy oil & vinegar, I can point you to some really good and super easy homemade salad dressings. They are wonderful and easy to use. In fact, since they are olive oil based, you don't even have to store them in the refrigerator. You can also put them in a spray bottle and use them as you do the Wishbone things. It's so much cheaper and tastier because you can tailor the spices as you like them (for instance, we are huge fans of garlic so we put a lot of garlic powder in ours).
Oh, and I have to admit, croutons are also my guilty pleasure. I usually won't use them at home because the store bought ones are just sort of so-so and not worth it, but I LOVE buying a bag of croutons from our local Panera Bread Company or Atlanta Bread Company. Who doesn't love bread soaked in butter or oil and baked with garlic?!
Makes me want a salad for breakfast this morning~ yum!
@myfanwe - it was!
@DirtyAndShaken - I'd love the recipes for the dressings and I buy croutons from both of those restaurants as well. A friend introduced them to me a couple of years ago and I just love them.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - lol, I find then great for any time of day, especially during the summer.
Most of my recipes are from Allrecipes.com (my addiction is this recipe site and I'm on it at least once a day). Definitely read the reviews at the bottom of the recipe because people are really good at posting suggestions, alterations and things that did or didn't work for them. Also, there is a servings calculator - most of the recipes are in large quantities, so you can recalculate to make them smaller. For dressings I usually take it down to about 15 servings - that's enough to fill a squeeze bottle and last a couple months. Here's the link:

This is my absolute favorite dressing recipe ever:

I like to make a greek pasta salad using Barilla Plus (the high protein/high fiber pasta made from semolina instead of flour), add grilled chicken, green or black olives, feta cheese, onion and tomatos. SO GOOD!
@DirtyAndShaken - thank you!
