  • If I Were Writing You A Letter ...

If I were writing you a letter I would start by telling you how wonderful you've been to me these pass few months of our relationship and these years of our friendship. If I were writing you a letter I would make sure to tell you how beautiful I think you are... inside and out. I wouldn't forget to tell you my most frequent memory of us which would be the times, you bestowed upon me the most thoughtful gifts, which caused me to think 'God she knows me so well.' I also wouldn't forget to tell you that I notice how you really listen to every little thing I say, as you've done since the very start of our friendship. It moves me inside, no one's ever done that before. So, I suppose if I were writing you a letter I would tell you how together you make me feel. Every moment spent with you is a moment worth every second and every moment not spent with you is a waste of my time. I know somewhere in the letter I'll ask you, how do you give life to someone that lives? And I would simply answer my own question to you with this 'amazing and heartfelt' response, I don't know, but you just did. I would continue with a few funny or corny lines, depending on your taste of humor, but then I would begin to tell you, what I am most scared of .... the obvious answer to something like that would be 'losing you' I would tell you that I fear this because being apart of my life you have given me a beautiful friendship and relationship that I can count and depend on. And if I were writing you a letter I would close with the reassuring lines that I will always be here for you. Every intimate moment we have I will cherish for the rest of my life. And that distance is not considered an obstacle to me when it comes to us, but more so a blessing. A blessing in the sense that each minute spent away from you teaches me how to appreciate the time I am allotted to you. And then lastly, I would say, thank you for being who you are with me ... then I would sign.

    All of me,

    Mary
